Manfred Tement put his 1997 Morillon Zieregg through a 30 month elevage in new barrels because he felt "such a great year deserved it." Toasted oak can be found in its aromatics as well as in its white fruit and coconut-laced personality. The wine is medium-bodied, plump, and long in the finish.
