The Brancaia 2018 Tre is a blend of mostly Sangiovese with smaller parts Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. These three grapes (harvested from three vineyard sites in Castellina, Radda and on the Tuscan Coast) deliver freshness, dark fruity softness and solid structure in equal measure. This is a streamlined wine with an accessible and easy personality that would work just fine alongside a wood-oven pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives.
