Verging on dark-ruby-colored, it reveals rich blackberry, blueberry, earth, fresh herb, and stone aromas that are followed by a thick, dense, velvety-textured, chewy, and juicy personality. This concentrated, plump, firm (yet generous), deep, delineated, and full-bodied wine is surprisingly refined for a wine this structured and fat. Intense layers of black cherries, blackberries, minerals and superbly ripe tannins saturate the palate and finish.
