The 2007 Dolcetto d’Alba Vigna Scot offers up floral red fruit, sweet spices, menthol and licorice in an accessible style. This is a surprisingly feminine, aromatic vintage for the Scot. The wine’s medium body suggests it should be drunk sooner rather than later. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
