The 2007 Barbaresco Faset is very pretty in this vintage. Sweet dark cherries, flowers, licorice and spices come together beautifully in this soft, voluptuous Barbaresco. Nothing in particular stands out, just the wine’s exceptional finesse and elegance. High-toned floral notes wrap around the enveloping finish. This isn’t a huge 2007, but rather a wine that conquers all of the senses through its superb sense of harmony. It is everything Barbaresco should be. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
