When I originally tasted this from barrel, I suggested that it might have surpassed the Chenevottes, but with a few months in bottle I have them roughly on par. It has a “spacious” bouquet, as if you could fill in the gaps between the scents of lime flower and lemon peel. The palate is very engaging with a crisp, elegant entry with great focus and poise. There is a hint of quince towards the finish that shows impressive volume and perhaps just a touch more length than the Chenevottes. This is very fine. Tasted March 2013.
