The 2000 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico is another winner. Made in a rich, viscous style, it evokes roasted nuts, baking spices, dried figs, cloves and roasted coffee beans with the slightly oxidative notes that are typical of this wine. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2012.
