Still very youthful, the 2011 Semillon offers delicate notes of waxy lemon, toast, apple tart and ripe pears with a touch of baker’s yeast. Light-bodied with medium to high, balanced acid, it gives a good amount of pure expressive fruit in the mouth and a long toasty finish. It’s very appealing in the relatively primary stage, though should develop nicely over the next 4-6 years+.
