The 2007 Pinot Noir Calkins Lane exhibits an expressive aromatic array of cedar, cinnamon, rose petal, smoked meat, cherry, and raspberry. Smooth-textured, sweetly-fruited, and well-balanced, it will evolve for 1-2 years and drink well through 2019. Under the more challenging conditions presented by the 2007 vintage, Adelsheim Vineyards did not quite perform to the level they achieved in 2006. Nevertheless, this is a solid collection of wines.
