From the Coteaux du Tricastin, readers should check out the 2001 Chateau Estubiers. Produced from a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache, it sees no oak. The result is a fruit-driven red offering notes of raspberries and cherries with surprising glycerin and elegance. Although austere, it is perfumed and charming, and best drunk during its first 2-3 years of life. Importer: Paterno Imports, Lake Bluff, IL; tel. (847) 604-8900
