An excellent value, is the Coteaux du Tricastin Chateau Estubiers. The 1999 falls just short of being outstanding. Loads of black cherry and currant fruit jump from the glass of this lush, succulent effort. Medium to full-bodied and fruit-driven, with plenty of glycerin, and enough acidity to provide focus as well as a clean mouthfeel, it is a hedonistic red to consume over the next 3-4 years.
