The 2007 Quinta de la Rosa Vintage Port is a glass-coating opaque purple color. Its nose exhibits aromas of damp earth, spice box, plum, black fruits, and raisins. In the mouth it is round with good volume, layered, savory fruit, good concentration, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It will evolve for 6-8 years and drink well through 2027 if not longer. No known American importer.

A fine, structured wine, showing elegance and attractive delicacy. Its black currant fruits are perfumed, lively and certainly fresh. There is good acidity here, the wine finishing beautifully balanced.——R.V.(12/15/2009)—— 90
