Bold aromas of blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf, plum, black cherry and kirsch. Smooth, elegant and very sleek, with a very fine texture and silky tannins. It has pure fruit and is made to impress. A bit of a bruiser but has zest and freshness. Drink 2013. Alc: 14.7%. (19 points)

An absolutely gorgeous Cabernet. It flatters all the way through, from the flamboyantly ripe cassis, cherry, cocoa and anise flavors to the smooth tannins and long, spicy finish. So refined and rich, yet so elegant. Should age for at least the next 6–8 years. ——S.H.(9/1/2011)—— 94
