The 2006 Altos de Revilla is 100% Tempranillo sourced from two parcels and aged in new French oak for 18 months. Aromas of wood smoke, violets, game, bacon, and mineral lead to a structured, still tightly wound wine with serious depth, excellent concentration, and plenty of savory, spicy black fruit. It demands 6-8 years of cellaring and will have a drinking window extending from 2016 to 2025.
