Lis Neris does a terrific job with all its white wines, but its Friulano is exceptionally pure and variety-driven. The 2013 Friuli Isonzo Friulano La Vila is a gorgeous expression of this native white grape. It shows the fruity flavor profile, the minerality and the fresh acidity to pair with a long list of vegetable and seafood-based dishes. Stone fruit, Golden Delicious apple and acacia honey are on prime display.
