A sleeper, the black/ruby/purple-colored 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (525 cases) offers a gorgeous perfume of charcoal, creme de cassis, licorice, tar, and wood. Powerful and rich as well as elegant and pure, this amazing Cabernet is somewhat of a surprise considering it emerges from the Russian River, the heart of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay country. It can be drunk young or cellared for 12-15 years.
