The 2005 Willow Bend is a blend of 44% Merlot, 29% Shiraz, and 27% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 20 months in a mix of new and used French and American oak. It delivers a fragrant nose of cedar, spice box, cassis, black currant, and blueberry. This is followed by a supple-textured, flavorful wine with good depth and length. It has several years of aging potential and can be enjoyed over the next 8-10 years. Importer: Michael Opdahl, Joshua Tree Imports, Duarte, CA; www.dutschkewines.com
