The 2009 Barbaresco Bricco San Giuliano is deceptive in its medium-bodied personality, but there is plenty of underlying tannin and structure. Tobacco, sweet herbs, plums and anise add complexity as this medium-bodied Barbaresco continues to open up in the glass.
