The 2007 Nuestra Selección (our selection) was also produced as a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, fermented and aged separately and blended at the end of the élevage. It has a profile of a very oaky red from another era, developed and tertiary, with some notes of leather and old oak. The palate reveals resolved tannins, plenty of oak-related flavors and some detached acidity. It barely made the cut. Time to drink up. 7,160 bottles were filled in July 2011.
