The 1996 Zinfandel Jackass Hill displays a medium garnet color with a hint of brick. The nose is so incredibly fruity with tons of blueberry preserves and dried cherries notes plus hints of raisin cake, dried roses, charcuterie and truffles with a touch of new leather. Full-bodied, super rich and sexy in the mouth, it has bags of spice layers and a very long, chewy finish with lingering anise hints.
