The 2005 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru offers up aromas of sweet berries and plums mingled with notions of licorice, forest floor and dried fruits. Medium to full-bodied, rich and lively, it's framed by rather firm, assertive tannins. Tremblay observes that this was the first year of organic certification and that the vineyard was still out of balance after years of more "conventional" farming.
