A big success in the vintage, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley (85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and a splash of Petit Verdot) is deep, rich and textured, with a voluptuous mid-palate and texture. Showing classic Cabernet black currant, lead pencil, wild herbs and hints of spice, this full-bodied, elegant 2011 has excellent concentration and solid underlying tannic grip. It’s approachable now but will have 10-15 years of ultimate longevity.
