Just being released are two 1992 wines from Amity. The Pinot Noir Winemaker's Reserve is Amity's top cuvee. The 1992 possesses a medium ruby color with darker nuances. Although closed, it exhibits attractive, spicy, earthy, berry scents, intermingled with a whiff of herbs and earth. Medium-bodied, with ripe fruit on the attack, and dry tannin in the finish. This wine should come out of its shell with 2-6 more months of cellaring; it will last for 4-6 years. Amity's Pinot Noirs tend to require bottle age, and thus are released later than most.Tel.
