There is a note of ripeness akin to raisins on the nose of the 2017 Lacima, which feels more Mediterranean and a little riper than the 2018 that I tasted next to it. It's juicy and a little heady, hedonistic and round, with a lush texture and developed flavors. There are abundant but fine-grained tannins. 4,279 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2019.
