The 2008 Tiers Vineyard Chardonnay gives intense notes of tropical fruits, pineapple and green mango, with supporting notes of fresh cream, acacia honey, meal and a sprinkling of crushed nuts. Medium bodied, it’s both refreshingly crisp and richly fruited in the mouth with a silken texture and a long finish. Drink it now through 2015. Tapanappa is a joint venture established in 2002 between the highly regarded winemaker / viticulturalist Brian Croser (ex Petaluma), Bollinger Champagne House and Jean-Michel Cazes from Chateau Lynch Bages.
