　　Tasting Note: Closed and sullen, this 1990 Lafleur was tasted blind and the vintage was a mystery since there was none of the ripeness or generosity that is usual for this vintage. At the end the vintage was found be pure deduction and luck. There are earthy, cocoa and savory herbs on the palate with firm, dense tannins and a quiet power. Hard to believe this wine is still closed. Wait a few more years before approaching this wine.
