The 2018 Chardonnay North Slope Vineyard is scented of toast, flit and roasted almonds with a core of baked apples and touches of honey. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and satiny, slowly unfolding its savory flavors and finishing very long. 910 cases produced.

The 2016 Chardonnay North Slope Vineyard simply sings of beautiful orange blossom, ginger and coriander seed notes with a core of spiced pears and Golden Delicious apples. The palate is medium-bodied with quite an understated, restrained expression in the mouth, featuring a quiet intensity of savory flavors, finishing on a mineral note. 938 cases produced.

The 2015 Chardonnay North Slope Vineyard has a very sultry nose of apricots, green mango and grapefruit with touches of croissant, honeysuckle and chalk dust. Medium to full-bodied with a sexy, satiny texture and tons of citrus and stone fruit layers, it has a nice long, savory finish. 840 cases produced.

The 2014 Chardonnay The North Slope comes from sandy, rich and fertile Goldridge soils. This wine exhibits plenty of honeyed brioche, with a greenish hue to its light-gold color, followed by notes of buttery hazelnuts, poached pear, pineapple and citrus oil. This is French in style as well, but with an almost lavish richness like a top-flight French Batard-Montrachet. It should drink well for 5-6 years.

Fashioned from yields of 2 to 2.5 tons of fruit per acre, the 2013 Chardonnay North Slope sees 30% new and 70% used barrels. It has nowhere near the generosity of its 2012 counterpart, but it exhibits beautiful nectarine, tangerine and other assorted tropical fruit notes, crisp, zesty acidity and a hint of wet stones that provide unmistakable minerality.
