A terrific value, the 2001 Eneas is a blend of equal parts Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot aged in 2-year old French barrels. This deep ruby-colored, elegant, restrained offering reveals hints of licorice and red fruits along with abundant sweetness and length. It builds in the mouth, and the finish is even more impressive than the attack. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
