Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 Barossa Gold Cabernet Sauvignon presents aromas of ripe black currants, black cherries and toast over hints of pencil shavings and cloves. Full bodied with plenty of vibrant, youthful fruit in the mouth, it is well balanced with a medium level of chewy tannins and lively acid, finishing long. Drink it now to 2015. Tscharke’s Barossa Gold label represents good value wines made from the Glaymond range’s de-selected barrels.Importer: Martin Scott Wines, www.martinscottwines.com
