The 2005 Baron de Ona Reserva was aged in 20% new French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it displays a nose of cedar, scorched earth, leather, violets, and blackberry. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, voluminous, ripe, and concentrated. Give it another 1-2 years to fully blossom and drink it from 2012 to 2020.
