The 2010 Single Vineyard Waipara Pinot Gris offers ripe golden delicious apple and poached pear notes over nuances of white peaches and some mace. Light to medium bodied, concentrated and with a touch of sweetness on the palate (9 grams per liter of residual sugar), it gives a long earthy finish with a touch of muskiness. Drinking now, it should remain fresh through 2013. Tiki is a range of organically produced / “naturally” made wines developed by winemaker Steve Harrop.
