With a screw-cap bottle, the Tiefenbrunner 2020 Pinot Grigio is fresh and lemony with lots of energy and life. The wine is lean-bodied and thin, but the bouquet fills in readily with orchard fruit, dried grass and honey. There's a touch of natural rubber or latex that adds to the pristine and sharp performance this wine gives to the senses. This is a lovely, easy-drinking wine available at a terrific value price. I recommend you serve this wine extra chilled, perhaps with a baked trout on your next fishing trip.
