This is the second of two dry Malvasia wines made by the Tasca family on the island of Salina. The Tenuta Capofaro 2020 Malvasia Vigna di Paola is the more "Aeolian" of the two, with aromas and flavors that are all directly linked to the wide blue sea that surrounds these beautiful islands. In the case of this wine, fruit is sourced from a 4.5-hectare plot heavy in pumice stone and sandy soils with tufa and sulfur. As a result, expect Vigna di Paola to show greater precision, sharpness and cool mineral freshness. This is an exciting new addition to this portfolio.
