The red blend 2019 Ars In Vitro was produced with 90% Tempranillo and 10% Merlot that fermented separately in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in concrete vats for at least two years. It has 14% alcohol, mellow acidity and freshness, with ripe fruit and an herbal touch. It's ripe without excess and reveals abundant, slightly dusty tannins that call for food. 33,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2022.

The 2011 Ars in Vitro is Tempranillo with 10% Merlot aged for two years in concrete vats. It has a strong herbal aroma combined with notes of raisins and dried figs. The palate is medium to full-bodied with some chunky tannins, enough acidity and a slightly drying finish. This needs powerful food. Drink now-2016. Tandem is a new name in Navarra, created in 2003 in the Yerri Valley, where soils are rich in clay and their 22 hectares of vineyards are located at 600 meters altitude. The wines are moved by gravity and mature for at least two years in underground concrete vats. I didn’t have the chance to taste their top wine, the 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Ars Memoria.
