The 2019 Pinot Noir Kali Hart has a medium ruby color and aromas of blackberries, licorice, forest floor and earth. The palate is light-bodied, soft and juicy with slightly dilute, earthy flavors and sweet spices lingering on the finish.

The pale to medium ruby colored 2017 Pinot Noir Kali Hart was aged in 15% new oak. The nose offers cranberry jelly, red cherries, woodsmoke, turned earth, tree bark and moss scents with notions of citrus peel and amaro. Medium-bodied, it’s ultra silky in the mouth with great flavor intensity, walking a line between ripe fruits and earth character, with a gently grainy frame and great freshness, finishing lifted.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Kali Hart opens with a pale to medium ruby-purple color and nose of red currants and Bing cherries with hints of violets, dried herbs and underbrush. Medium-bodied, fine and fresh, it has a lively, soft, refreshing backbone and good length.

Starting off the reds, the 2011 Pinot Noir Kali Hart (aged 9 months in 10% new French oak) offers upfront and delicious Pinot Noir character with sweet red fruits, underbrush and hints of herbs to go with a medium-bodied, lightly textured, yet classy and fresh mouthfeel. It doesn’t pack much back-end depth or richness, yet is very drinkable and has solid character. Enjoy it over the coming 1-3 years. Drink now-2016.
