The 2010 Sauvignon Classico is an attractive, up-front white with excellent varietal character. Hints of slate, crushed rocks and lime peel inform the bright, mineral-drenched finish. The Classico kept getting better over the few hours I followed it. I have little doubt it will be even better now that it has had time to recover from its bottling a few months prior to my tasting. The 2009 Sauvignon Classico is a pretty, entry-level white graced with expressive peaches, apricots, flowers and mint, all of which come together beautifully in a generous, radiant style that is quite appealing.
