The cushioned base upon which the fruit bounces in this 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is largely due to the small proportion of American oak barrels used in the maturation cohort. American oak, even when employed in tiny amounts lends a coconut/vanilla quality to the spice rack and a plumpness to the texture. Love it or hate it, that's the deal.
