The 2009 Botrytis Semillon has moderately intense aromas of lemon curd, orange marmalade, acacia honey and a pleasant muskiness. Very crisp, silky and sweet in the mouth (128 grams per liter of residual sugar), it has nice nervy / youthful intensity to counter the richness. The finish is long. Delicious now, this wine has some potential to evolve and should cellar to 2017+. Peter Lehman produces a solid range of well made wines that, if lacking a bit of soul, are nonetheless very drinkable.Importer: The Hess Collection New World Wines, Napa, CA
