A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec, the 2008 No Regrets Cabernet Merlot was aged 15 months in French and American oak barriques, 25% new, with regular rack and returns. Deep garnet colored with a touch of purple, it offers pronounced black cherry and vibrant blackberry aromas with nuances of black pepper, cedar, pencil shavings and dried Mediterranean herbs. Medium-full bodied with plenty of berry and ripe plum flavors, it has crisp acid, medium-firm grainy tannins and a long finish. Drink this one now through 2016. Peccavi does not currently have a USA importer but is exported to Malaysia, Singapore, UK, Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, Belgium and Denmark.

Medium garnet-purple colour. Perfumed nose of warm blackberry, dried plums cinnamon and the faintest waft of menthol. The palate is concentrated, full bodied and nicely balanced by refreshing medium to high acidity and a medium level of velvety tannins. There's just a suggestion of smokiness in the long finish. Drink now to 2015. Tasted June 2009.
