Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2009 Pinot Noir has earthy aromas to begin with some suggestions of corn husk and beet root over a core of ripe cherries, raspberry and forest floor. Medium bodied with a medium level of grainy tannins and crisp acidity, it offers great concentration and a long savory finish. Drinking now, it should cellar to 2015+.
