The 2015 Nectar Dei (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Petit Verdot and 10% Merlot) is a dark and brooding red wine with a soft and accessible personality. The bouquet is redolent of Cabernet-driven aromas of garden spice and medicinal herb, but you also get the rich sweetness of cherry and blackberry preserves that comes from the Merlot. You taste oak-driven tones of cinnamon and crushed clove on the finish. This wine ages in barrique for two years. Some 8,000 bottles were made.

With fruit from Maremma in Coastal Tuscany, the 2013 Nectar Dei is a plush, generous and beautiful expression. This blend is composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Syrah and 10% Petit Verdot (with two years in barrique and six months in cement). The bouquet opens to thick layers of black fruit, fresh plum and savory spice. These aromas are beautifully folded together. There is a bright note of sour cherry and fresh acidity on the close. This wine should hold well over the coming decade.

From the Maremma Toscana IGT appellation in coastal Tuscany, the 2010 Nectar Dei is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah. This "nectar of the Gods" opens to a bold and opulent nose with blockbuster aromas of dark cherry, spice, chocolate and tobacco. This is the proverbial Big Boy wine and what you lose in varietal identity, you gain in overall power and intensity. Soft tannins and enriched fruit flavors give the wine long momentum.
