Deep garnet colored, the 2006 Limited Release Shiraz has pronounced meaty / gamey aromas over mulberries, fresh figs, creme de cassis, coffee and roasted nuts. Medium-bodied, it has crisp acid and a medium-firm level of grainy tannins giving backbone to the layers of evolving flavors. The finish is long and savory.
