The 2012 Verdelho is scented of fresh lemons and green apples with hints of dill seed, white pepper and grass. Light to medium-bodied and dry in the mouth, it gives a good amount of simple apple and citrus flavors with lively acid and a medium to long finish. Drink it now through 2014. Somewhat more serious, the 2009 Verdelho possesses delicate aromas of lime leaf, dill, white pepper, fresh pear slices and a touch of spiciness.
