The 2015 Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Ligneau comes from 40-year-old vines matured in stainless steel for 18 months. It has a light, chalk and flint-scented bouquet that is tightly wound but nicely focused. The palate is fresh on the entry, with mango and guava notes, good acidity and a pleasing, waxy-textured finish that lingers in the mouth. Enjoy this Chablis over the next four to five years.
