The estate's 2009 Malvasia Bianca Donna Lisa is a rich, textured white layered with tropical fruit, mango and citrus. French oak gives the wine much of its volume, yet all of the elements are beautifully balance in this polished, understated white. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. Quality continues to improve at this venerable estate. The wines have become far more consistent since the arrival of oeonologist Riccardo Cotarella a few years back.
