A blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon and 49% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 LMV Salon bursts with bold scents of crème de cassis and blueberry preserves, plus underlying notes of wild sage, camphor and pencil shavings and a waft of raspberry leaves. Medium to full-bodied, the vibrant red berry palate is tightly knit with fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and fragrant.

The 2018 LMV Salon is a blend of 59% Cabernet Franc and 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in French oak, 69% new. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with energetic notes of warm red currants, fresh blackberries and Morello cherries with suggestions of pencil shavings, fallen leaves and dried Provence herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with intense red berry and earthy layers with a firm frame of grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing with a lively herbal lift. 620 cases were made.

A blend of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 100% new French oak, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 LMV Salon (White Label) has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and is scented of chocolate-covered cherries, fresh blackcurrants, kirsch and black raspberries with touches of bouquet garni, forest floor, charcoal and black olive. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is filled with ripe red and black fruits and a firm, rugged texture, possessing just enough freshness to deliver a long, earth-laced finish. 470 cases were made.

A barrel sample blended of 53% Cabernet Franc and 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 LMV Salon (White Label) has a compelling nose of crushed redcurrants, mulberries and fresh blackcurrants with touches of dried Provence herbs, pencil lead, tobacco leaf and wood smoke. Medium to full-bodied, it has tons of taut, muscular red and black fruit layers, supported by firm, chewy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and earthy. 690 cases are expected to be made.

Composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Lmv Salon Proprietary Red has an earthy, meaty, gamy nose with a crème de cassis and preserved plums core backed up by Christmas cake and new leather with a medicinal waft. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with firm, chewy tannins and a good core of fruit, it's just a bit astringent and closed at this youthful stage.
