A dark, big, potent Pinot, as Laetitia tends to produce. It shows the tannin structure of its cool climate vineyard, and is completely dry, with a refreshing squirt of acidity. Brilliant and delicious. Shows the elegant dryness of a superior Arroyo Grande Pinot, with massively ripe and complex flavors of black and red cherry pie, raspberry and strawberry jam, beef jerky, cola and smoky oak. Quite an impressive wine, rich and full-bodied and ageable. Shows a touch of Burgundy in the grilled mushrooms and earthy tastes, but it’s all California in the ripe berries, cherries and cola.
