The organic 2022 Verdejo feels a lot more expressive and open than the Sauvignon. It has moderate varietal character, notes of freshly cut grass and quince, faintly balsamic, with medium ripeness and body and a balanced mouthfeel.

Their regular 2020 Verdejo was also produced with organic grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and with a small portion of skins and was kept with the lees for two to three months. It's young and fruit-driven, with a faint reduction and some herbal notes. It has a mellow palate with clean flavors and a fresh finish. 600,000 bottles produced.

This 100% Verdejo (the indigenous white commonly found in Spain) was aged three months in tank sur lie. The wine almost looks like water, but it does have a Sauvignon Blanc-like crisp, light-bodied, zesty style with delicate flavors of citrus and a crisp finish. It’s an ideal bar aperitif, light white to drink over the next 6-12 months.

The 2013 Verdejo is a clean, light, textbook inox-fermented Verdejo, with shy aromas and flavors, along with good acidity and persistence. Drink now. There have been a few changes in the names of the projects and wineries from the Sanz family, and it seems like the wines are now together under the Menade winery. This is a delightful, exceptionally perfumed example of dry white wine. This 6,000-case cuvee is one of the most promising light-bodied whites I have tasted from Spain. It is tank-fermented and bottled early. The wine offers loads of fruit, a lovely bouquet, and crisp, fresh flavors.
