The 2012 Chenin Blanc Florentine opens with aromas of green apples, lemon peel and freshly mown grass with a whiff of lime leaves. Dry, medium-bodied and showing a good amount of pure apple and herbal flavors, it finishes long and clean. Drink it now to 2015. No known USA importer.

The 2011 Florentine Chenin Blanc gives moderate to intense aromas of fresh apples, pears and yeast with hints of lemon zest and honeysuckle. Light to medium bodied and dry, it has a good amount of straightforward apple and pear flavor on the palate with crisp acidity and a medium to long finish. Drink it now through 2013. Kalleske’s 2010 Florentine Chenin Blanc comes from a single vineyard and is wild yeast fermented as well as being partially barrel matured. It gives intense ripe apple and pear notes with some honeyed peach and white blossom. Light to medium-bodied, dry and crisp with good concentration, it provides a medium-long refreshing finish.
