Sourced from the Te Muna Valley in Wairapara, matured for 13 months in 50% new French oak, this has wonderful Pinot has light, earthy red-berried nose with good definition, not a million miles away from a Morey-Saint-Denis aromatic profile. The palate has excellent balance, well-judged acidity, harmony and a silky texture. Cherry, strawberry, mandarin and a touch of cranberry. Good length. Excellent. Drink now-2014.
